The rec center will be open from 12pm - 6pm on Monday, January 18th for MLK Day.

Holiday Hours

Due to the Christmas Holidays, the following are the hours of operation for the building:

• Thursday, December 24th - CLOSED
• Friday, December 25th - CLOSED
• Saturday, December 26th - 9am-1pm
• Thursday, December 31st - 12pm-5pm
• Friday, January 1st - CLOSED

Holiday day camps will only be taking place on the following dates:

• Mon-Wed, Dec 21-23
• Mon-Wed, Dec 28-30

Thanksgiving Operating Hours

The following are the building hours for the week of Thanksgiving (Nov 23-28):

• Monday, November 23 - Normal Business Hours
• Tuesday, November 24 - Normal Business Hours
• Wednesday, November 25 - Early closure at 7pm
• Thursday, November 26 - CLOSED
• Friday, November 27 - Normal Business Hours
• Saturday, November 28 - Normal Business Hours
• Sunday, November 29 - CLOSED

Halloween Carnival at the Rec!!!

Looking for a fun night for the halloween weekend to bring the family out?  The Charley Taylor Rec Center annual Halloween Carnival is taking place this year on Friday, October 30th from 6pm - 8pm. We will have bounce houses, crafts, games, and lots of candy to give out. 

The event is FREE to all and hope you can join us for this fun event we host each year!  If you have questions, please call us at (972) 264-6890 for details.

Remember, Mark your Calendars for Friday, October 30th at 6pm.  The rec center will be open later this night just for the carnival!  Hope you can join us!

Parks and Rec Appreciation Night

Due to the Parks and Recreation Appreciation Night at Airhogs Stadium this evening,

Charley Taylor Recreation Center will be closing early for Wednesday (tonight) only at 7:00pm so we can thank our staff for all they do and to participate in the last baseball game festivities. We will be back to regular business hours on Thursday from 12pm-9pm.

Labor Day closure - Sept 7th

Charley Taylor Recreation Center will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will be re-opening the building on Tuesday, September 8th at 12 noon.

New Building Hours

Charley Taylor Recreation Center will be moving to new hours effective Monday, August 24th, 2009. The following are the new building hours:

MONDAY-THURSDAY:
12pm-9pm

FRIDAY:
12pm-6pm

SATURDAY:
9am-1pm

SUNDAY:
Closed

Next Week - June 29-July 3

Just a reminder that next week will be pro-rated for all campers attending due to the holiday weekend. The camp weekly fee for next week will be $64/camper.

REMINDER THAT THERE IS NO CAMP ON FRIDAY, JULY 3rd!!! CHARLEY TAYLOR WILL BE CLOSED FRIDAY-SATURDAY FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND.

Week #4 field trip will be to the Uptown Theatre on Thursday, July 2nd. More details will be available on your weekly update.
